Inspiration
Business cards an important part of society to connect with others, especially in a formal setting. We aimed to develop a mobile application that solves the difficulties of managing your contacts through a physical business card.
What it does
Through our mobile application we were able to allow a user to create an account, select an image from the gallery on their mobile phone and use machine learning to identify texts on the business card.
How we built it
We built it using Google's ML Kit, Firebase and Java.
Challenges we ran into
Because it was a team of two, making a native mobile application took longer than we thought.

We are happy to have learnt the use of the ML Kit and the impacts it can have.

What's next for Business Card Intelligence
- Use Firebase to accurately depict the values from the words provided by the ML Kit and to be able to go onto the mobile application market.
