Inspiration

I saw many children along with me standing and waiting for the buses while our parents are worried. This inspired me to make this website which tracks the buses so the parents can be happy an the children can be in safety.

What it does

It tracks the School buses and shows where the bus is right then, it shows te ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) to the school. It sends notifications if there is any prolem like heavy traffic,etc.

How we built it

I mainly used an AI website called "Softr". I also edited the code myself if i wanted to.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge that I ran into was that the buses could not be actually tracked and I cannot make an actual working prototype.

What's next for BusBeacon

I will definitely try to implement this idea into the real world in the future.
