Bus-In-Hand

Inspiration

A lot of people are dependent on the public transport for their day to day traveling. Most of the times we manage to get our buses on time, but what if we miss it and don't know when the next one will arrive? So here we are with a smart solution to manage our bus travel routine in the most convenient way. Schedule your travel times according to the bus availability and make the possibility of missing your bus to almost null. This not only helps us remain at ease in the new city but also helps us save our time in the most efficient way. How's is it different from the already existing apps like red bus? We are targeting local travel buses used in our day to day life.

What it does

We make sure that we give authenticated information to our users. All the bus owners registered on this website will be verified owners and the bus schedule shared by them will be valid. Enter your start and end location and get a schedule of all the buses taking that route. This will help you plan your trip accordingly. All bus details such as name , routes, fair will be displayed You can view the bus stops and bus route in the maps. Just Enter start and end location of your trip. Now you do not have to worry about change because you can scan the QR code provided in the bus details and pay directly through UPI.

How we built it

Frontend was built using ReactJs and Material UI , Maps were implemented using React Leaflet. Backend was made using Node , Express, Mongo.

Were able to build a web app with good user interface and provide various features.

What's next for Bus-In-Hand

Integrating UPI payment details , history. Maintaining a log of travel schedule to get timely reminders of bus available.
