Bursa metropolitan municipality open data portal
What it does
Web software based on live tracking on the map after entering the selected public bus code in the city of Bursa and learning the approaching stop of the selected vehicle, its instantaneous speed, and direction information. The bus is close to which stop, in which direction it is going, at how many kilometers it is traveling, and other detailed information is automatically updated and displayed.
How I built it
Visual Studio etc. is not developed with a backend code, but completely using html-css-js and related web service. Mobile design, error checks were made.
Challenges I ran into
The process of clearing data from the web service and displaying it correctly to the user. this took a while
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
A simultaneous and realistic project. Anyone in Bursa can use it for free
What I learned
To think differently, to find faults and to develop a system design that will do the right job for the user at the right time.
