Inspiration

Just imagined how fun the game watching would be when you can make a guess right before your player takes action.

What it does

In the live watching, a quick question pops up to get your responses. While a pitch clock counts down, the pop-up asks you, 'Will the hitter swing this one", "Will the pitcher throw into the strike zone?", or "Will the runner at the first base try to steal 2nd?" and you can give answers live. When your guess is right, you get instant reward! With that, there's a in-game live rankings, team rankings, and season rankings that you can compete, show-off globally.

How we built it

Have Gemini write the code for the html and build the backend using Flask, providing urls for the videos.

Challenges we ran into

Only home run videos are available so couldn't make interesting cases.

At least this mock up showcases how exciting it would be if you can actually participate in live games.

What's next for GamifyLiveBaseball

Make this live with the engine identify pitchers, hitters, runners and understand other surroundings so it can generate engaging questions in live games. Build a billboard for this game.
