Burger

Inspiration

As I use Discord alot, I wanted to create a bot that I can control myself, add the commands I need to it and format everything about it as I want, I like the idea of being in control of something I use daily.

What it does

Burger (The bot name) can -play you music in discord when requested, There's commands and buttons to basic music things like -stop, -pause/resume, -volume up/down, -Queue where it shows songs that are currently in queue, -loop to play queued songs over and over again, -skip, -skipTo that skips to a specific song in queue, -seek, -clear that clears the queue, -remove to remove a queued song, -shuffle to shuffle the queued songs, -lyrics to show the lyrics of a song. It has a lo-fi radio that plays you Lo-Fi music also.

With Burger, you can register in Burger's Casino and start playing casino games using Burger coins! Games like -bj to play blackjack, -hr which is a game for horse race betting, -crash, -dice, -trivia to get asked trivia questions, earn 1000 coins every 1 hour by -wage command. -leaderboard to view the top 10 richest people registered in burgers Casino!

In addition, it has a -meme, -serverinfo command. Dont forget -burger command to get a free burger!

How I built it

Using Java, Java Discord API, Maven, Postgresql for databases, heroku to host it 24/7.

Challenges I ran into

While coding the casino games, Ran into challenges coding the games but I dont know the word impossible!

Accomplishments that I’m proud of

Proud that I could code it solo from A to Z, It is now in 45 servers too!

What I learned

It made me really comfortable with java and postgresql, really improved my coding skills with Java by it.
