About Bupsy

Bupsy is a native Mac app where a small team of AI bots lives and works for you. Each bot runs Claude Code or Codex under your own sign-in and on the subscription you already pay for. There is no Bupsy account, no credits to buy and no Bupsy server; conversations are files on your own disk, and there is no telemetry.

Make a bot, tell it what it is for, and it gets on with it: on a schedule, when files change, or when another bot hands it work. Each bot has its own job and its own face, and the face is the status: ready, working, needs you, done, asleep or stuck. Anything beyond reading stops and asks, with four trust levels per bot and an audit log. Routines and goals run on a schedule, group chats use @mentions, and a lead bot can manage teammates. Connect Gmail, Notion, Linear or any MCP server through Executor, which keeps the keys.

Key features

  • A roster, not a chat box: each bot has its own job, face and sense of when to ask
  • The face is the status: ready, working, needs you, done, asleep, stuck
  • Asks before it acts: shell commands never auto-allowed, four trust levels
  • Routines and goals on a schedule, even with the app closed
  • Bots hand work to each other in group chats with @mentions; lead bots manage teammates
  • Long chats stay cheap with automatic hand-off notes
  • Connect any tool (Gmail, Notion, Linear, MCP, APIs) through Executor
  • No account, no server, no telemetry, native Swift
