Inspiration
We liked tamagotchi as a concept and integrating into a financial context proved a fun challenge. Why not create a gameified way to overview your financial decisions.
What it does
They respond to your spending with colour changes and different personalities. You can talk to them through text or voice.
How we built it
We used FastAPI and React. For textual responses we used claude API, ElevenLabs was used for voice recognition
Challenges we ran into
Designing Bunqie was a big challenge, but one that we are satisfied with having completed.
