People make bad money decisions in real-time because banking apps cannot see what they're looking at, hear what they want to do, or give instant financial judgment about whether it's safe. Aether is a multimodal AI copilot that solves this by combining camera, voice, and bunq banking actions into one seamless experience. What it does

Aether sees products through your camera, hears your spending intent through voice, and makes instant safe-to-spend decisions based on your real financial context (upcoming bills, spending patterns, safety buffers). It prevents impulse overspending, auto-splits group bills by scanning receipts, and resolves awkward shared expenses instantly. How I built it

Built as a solo UX developer using bunq API for real banking actions (send/request money, transfers), computer vision for product/OCR recognition, speech-to-text for voice commands, and a custom safe-to-spend engine that analyzes account patterns, upcoming obligations, and personal spending thresholds. Frontend is a clean React interface optimized for hackathon demo flow.
