Our flashed badges with the new OS

User profiles, showcasing each custom user mandala

What if Hack the North's community could be preserved as an interactive work of art? Bump is powered by the badge connect feature, where individuals are mapped, and connected as mandalas in a web-app. Preserving community ties and user information, Bump preserves Hack the North 2026 forever.

This project started as a simple design idea: "What if we made a mosaic of the event, where each user was a mandala?" We then evolved on this idea, introducing connections from a custom-OS flashed badge, user data consolidated with OpenAI, and eventually a gamified experience on a modern OS.
