I wanted to twist the "Bully" concept into a different genre. What if the "bully" wasn't a kid, but a demonic entity? This was inspired by the idea of pushing boundaries to capture the horro reflected in the human expereince in a supernatural way.

What it does

This is a 90-second "found footage" style horror film. It takes the "Bully" premise and turns it into a visceral, unsettling nightmare. The lack of a title card is deliberate.

How we built it

This piece is all about the sound design. I used AI to generate unsettling, raw horror visuals, but the real terror comes from the demonic voice-over, the distorted sounds, and the aggressive audio cuts. The "To be continued..." is the perfect stinger.

Challenges we ran into

The challenge in the Bully series is always first and foremost being creative in getting around NSFW flags and parameters. For me it adds to the sharpening of steel in the craft of storytelling with AI. The main point on this project though was to make it feel, smell and look grity and to make it feel raw and not "over-produced." I had to fight the urge to clean it up. The "draft" aesthetic is the whole point.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This piece is genuinely unsettling. The audio design is the star, and it proves that "horror" is a feeling, not just a visual.

What we learned

In horror, what you hear is often more terrifying than what you see. The demonic VO and hard-cut stinger at the end make the film.

What's next for BULLY (Horror) This is a successful proof-of-concept for a horror short. The "To be continued..." is a promise that there's more to this nightmare.
