I Call BS

Inspiration

Given the rise of mistrust between people about using fake news and fake facts, the world needs to be able to fact check each other immediately, rather than having to search through everything personally or rely on other "fact checkers." That's where ICBS comes in.

What it does

Whenever an incorrect fact is stated, our web app will make a loud sound indicating that the fact is inherently incorrect. Uses NLP to parse questions and scrapes the net to call out your BS.

How we built it

We created our own NLP algorithm to rephrase statements and then webscraped google for the results, compared the results and checked wether the original statement matched or not.
