Inspiration

As emerging business enthusiasts, our ambition is to establish a dynamic hub for startups, offering them a space to connect with potential users, foster engaging discussions, and strategically market their products. This hackathon presents a precious occasion for us to display our multifaceted abilities, which include solving complex problems, coding, effective communication, adept presentation skills, and, notably, strong collaborative teamwork. What has particularly captivated our attention is the exceptional opportunity to make a substantial impact on Buffalo's evolving entrepreneurial sphere.

What it does

Web Application for Startups: Building User Base and Promoting Growth. Our tech solution serves as an all-in-one web platform, offering young and enthusiastic entrepreneurs a space to showcase their products. Beyond that, it functions as a thriving community for fostering meaningful discussions and pitch sessions. We've laid out a roadmap that includes gamification elements like recognizing top contributors and highlighting the best product of the month, as well as leveraging AI models for assessing the best critiques.

How we built it

Our platform is primarily built on .netcore, angular and SQL server, whereas we've also wireframed the UX on FIGMA.

Challenges we ran into

Due to time constraints, we formulated a strategy to give priority to the fundamental elements of our web application. Among the challenges we faced, one was the development of a highly interactive web application. We have devised a six-month roadmap to tackle the remaining milestones.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're elated to have worked in this team, where each member has been an equal contributor. After 72 hours of hard work and diligence, we're incredibly proud of our end result and the learnings throughout the course of the hackathon. We've built a core product.

What we learned

The hackathon gave us opportunities to work on multiple new tools and skills such as FIGMA and core presentation skills. We also learnt each other's strengths and have learnt from each other.
