Inspiration

I use invision studio for my UI designs and most of the time, I need a larg about of related images e.g shoes so I find myself in the loop of downloading images individually then importing them back to invision. It was really stressful so I decided to build a web app that shortens the process and removes the stress all together

What it does

It's a simple Web application that allows you to download images in bulk... for free, it can be 10, 20 or even 1000 images at once,it groups the images in "packs". After downloading, you get a zip file containing all the images in that particular pack

How we built it

I designed the web app using invision studio then I brought it to life using ReactJS and CSS with the help of the unslpash API

Challenges we ran into

The main problem was the API, I had to send an email to unsplash requesting that I use their API at a higher rate(they added a limit) but I was politely declined. But even with the limit, users can still download 1000+ images at a time

Accomplishments that we're proud of

People have used it and it worked perfectly; a friend reached out to me thanking me for the web app cause he was also facing the problem of bulk Image downloading

I brought a problem solving idea to life

What's next for Bulk Image downloader

A sort of partnership with unsplash Adding more user requested features
