Inspiration
The inspiration for this project was to allow hackers to find projects and build anything they had in mind with anyone.
What it does
Bulb allows you to post any "bulbs" or ideas you have to the public in order to turn that idea into a reality. By searching for certain projects based on language, skill level, or location, there will always be a bulb for you to light up.
How we built it
I built this application using Ionic for hybrid mobile development, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS for the front-end development, and Firebase for the back-end development.
Challenges we ran into
The most challenging tasks I ran into were the time constraints, being that I did this project alone, and managing the data in the database.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of actually finishing a barely MVP of this application.
What we learned
I learned alot about AngularJS and Ionic in general and how powerful both these tools are, along with Firebase.
What's next for Bulb
I plan to integrate instant language translation into the app so that hackers of different dialects can communicate amongst others internationally.
