Inspiration

We were inspired by our shared passion for both coding and puzzles. As a team, we wanted to create something fun and engaging

What it does

Our website generates random coding and tech-related riddles and displays multiple-choice answers in a textbox format. Users select an answer and hit "Submit" to check if they got it right, with instant feedback on their choice. It’s designed to be an engaging and simple way to test your knowledge while learning something new.

How we built it

We started by planning out the core features: generating riddles randomly, creating a dropdown for answers, and providing feedback when a user submits an answer. Using HTML for structure, CSS for styling, and JavaScript for functionality, we put it all together step by step. JavaScript was especially useful for randomizing riddles and checking answers, while CSS helped us make the layout visually engaging and user-friendly.

Challenges we ran into

At some point in time we accidentally completely errased our progress while coding and had to start from complete scratch. Aswell as we both knew little to no coding. Especially with challenging languages like HTML.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The ability to keep going especially with huge roadblocks in the way, this helps with our authenticity and gives us a story to tell others.

What we learned

As a group a learned how to code, we learned the basics very fast due to the situation we were in, we have learned how to collaborate as a team and contribute our ideas and thoughts into one website.

What's next for [(Buisness Boyz) - (Riddle game)]

Next, we’d like to add more riddles to keep the game fresh and challenging. We’re also considering adding a scoreboard feature to track user progress and scores. Our ultimate goal is to make the game accessible as a mobile app or even add levels of difficulty so users can gradually improve their coding knowledge. We’re excited to keep building on what we’ve started!
