Inspiration

After going through the resources and data sources curated for this hackathon, I thought that there are a lot of useful services and massive amounts of data available for this pandemic. That sparked a question in my mind - I have been following this topic closely - why is it I only knew about less than half of that available information?

From there, I started working on this simple website that I hope will serve as a platform to encapsulate all resources related to Covid-19.

What it does

The purpose of it is simple. You can see all the amazing services and data people built and collected, and ❤️them if you want. If you don't see a resource you think should be there, submit it!

Challenges I ran into

One of the biggest challenges of this is to ensure the most up-to-date and authentic aggregation of services. I plan to solve this using extensive reviews of submitted resources with the help of volunteers.

What's next for builtforcovid19

My immediate next step is to populate the website with quality resources. Backlog tasks involve making a meaningful partnership, obtaining guidance, and promoting this to serve useful information to everyone.
