Inspiration

We were inspired to create a platform that simplifies blockchain interactions for users, especially those who might not have a deep understanding of technical blockchain concepts. Our goal was to leverage AI to make actions like swapping and staking intuitive, opening up new and more accessible experiences on the NEAR blockchain.

What it does

This platform allows users to interact with the NEAR blockchain through an AI-powered interface, enabling actions like swapping tokens and staking without needing technical expertise. The AI Agent guides users through these actions, providing suggestions and simplifying complex processes, ultimately enhancing the user experience.

How we built it

We used an advanced AI model integrated with the NEAR blockchain, training it to understand and interact with the smart contracts required for swapping and staking. The AI was fine-tuned to handle common blockchain actions and was programmed to communicate directly with NEAR’s protocols. This enables a seamless, easy-to-use interface where users can initiate actions in just a few clicks.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was designing an AI model capable of understanding the intricacies of the NEAR ecosystem and keeping up with new projects in the network. We had to optimize the AI’s decision-making processes and response time to meet user expectations while ensuring security and accuracy in a decentralized environment.

What we learned

Through this project, we learned the ins and outs of building smart contracts on the NEAR blockchain and gained insights into integrating and optimizing AI within a blockchain environment. This experience has enhanced our understanding of how AI can simplify complex technology, making it accessible for more users.

What's next for BuildLink

We plan to expand BuildLink’s functionality by incorporating more blockchain actions and developing a more robust AI model that can adapt to new protocols and decentralized applications (dApps). Additionally, we aim to improve user experience and explore integrations with other blockchains to make BuildLink a multi-chain platform for seamless blockchain interactions.
