Deep-Think Codebase Navigator is an AI-powered engineering assistant that helps teams understand and safely evolve large codebases. It detects architectural drift by comparing actual code against documented design rules and generates dependency-aware refactoring plans for large-scale changes. The system follows a strict Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture, using MongoDB as the primary layer for storage, semantic indexing, and vector retrieval, while Gemini AI is used exclusively for reasoning, analysis, and planning. By separating memory from intelligence, the platform delivers transparent, explainable insights that reduce technical debt, prevent architectural violations, and make complex refactoring faster and safer.
