Inspiration

Although there are growing number of minorities and women in tech, we still have a long way to go. From my and my friends' personal experiences the ratio of women to men in QC CS classes are almost 1 to 5. We believe women and other minorities have the potential and talent to contribute to the growth of the tech field and in general STEM fields.

What it does

Our flyer inspire people of all background and of diverse interests to think about launch a career in STEM

How we built it

Our team came together and brainstormed what we would be most interested in based on the requirements given. We discussed it and started planning.

Challenges we ran into

We had difficulties in choosing the best interactive design making tool to use.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our team came together to finally settled on which tool to use and came up with satisfying design.

What we learned

We learned planning ahead and working hard as a team is important. Since this was a short hackathon, it became hard to complete the project on time.

What's next for Build with STEM

We would want to develop our technical skills, so we can turn it into a bigger project like build a informative website on career in STEM
