Inspiration

I wanted to build useful tools and stand out as a computer science major. I'm interested in entrepreneurship and AI, so I needed to build my personal brand. This hackathon was the perfect chance to start my journey.

What it does

It's a simple website that shows my build-in-public journey. People can see all the projects I made, the progress I shared, and the recognition I got along the way.

How we built it

I used Bolt and Claude to build it with simple HTML and Tailwind CSS. The tools made it easy to create a clean website without complicated code.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing documenting with actually building projects was hard. Editing videos took forever - it was like having a full-time job on top of coding.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I got lots of views and subscribers during my journey. The best part was when Eric Simons, CEO of Bolt, commented on my journey on X (Twitter). That felt amazing.

What we learned

Building in public is hard work but worth it. Documenting everything takes time, but it helps people follow your story. Consistent sharing builds an audience.

What's next for Build In Public Journey

Keep building more projects and sharing them. Add more features to the website. Maybe turn this into a platform where other builders can share their journeys too.
