Inspiration
We were inspired by the growing need for a smarter and more integrated platform to manage real estate transactions. Many existing apps are either too complex or lack essential features. Our goal was to create an all-in-one property app that simplifies the process of buying, selling, and renting — especially for modern, mobile-first users.
What it does
Our app allows users to:
- Search for properties by location, price, and type
- Connect directly with property owners or agents
- Post and manage property listings
- Schedule property visits
- View real-time analytics and market trends
- Save favorite properties and get alerts
How we built it
- React Native (Expo) for cross-platform mobile development
- Supabase for real-time backend services and database
- React + Tailwind CSS for the admin dashboard and web client
- TypeScript for clean, scalable code
- Cloud services for hosting and deployment
Challenges we ran into
- Integrating real-time features while maintaining performance
- Designing a UI that works well for both property seekers and sellers
- Ensuring secure and seamless authentication
- Handling location-based search with speed and accuracy
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Built a fully functional MVP in a short amount of time
- Integrated a real-time database with dynamic listing updates
- Created a modern, user-friendly design
- Optimized for both mobile and desktop experiences
What we learned
- The importance of understanding user journeys in real estate
- How to work efficiently with Supabase and real-time data
- Designing responsive UI for property-heavy content
- Balancing simplicity and powerful features
What's next for build apps proferty
- Add support for mortgage calculators and payment simulations
- Launch chat and negotiation features between buyers and sellers
- Implement geofencing and AR for virtual property tours
- Integrate payment gateways for deposits and booking fees
- Expand to support commercial property listings
