🚀 TLDR

Draw on our board for a fixed price per pixel and show your drawing skills to the world 🎨. Revenue will be shared based on the number of pixels you draw compared to the total number of pixels drawn.

🃏 What it does

Building.ftm is a decentralized and gamified drawing board. You can draw whatever you want on it for a fixed price per pixel 👾 . When we reach a threshold of pixels drawn, the building grows automatically. There are no limits to the building, meaning that in the future it could be used to explore past events ⌛.

Drawing is incentivized with fees generated by users. 70% of the revenue is returned to our users, split proportionally based on the number of pixels owned by each user compared to the total number of pixels drawn 🪙

⚔️ Challenges we ran into

Time was our biggest challenge. Both of us were super busy for this period so we both lacked time.

We learned how to push a project under strict timing, and most of the time without being able to work on it at the same time 🦾

Also, it is our first project as a team.

⏭️ What's next for Build

1) Some UI fixes - Display controls on pointing without clicking

2) Update the UI for mobile display

3) Tying pixels to NFTs rather than adresses. Which would let players exchange pixels by buying / selling their NFTs

4) Improving our formula. And maybe change the incentives for something that works better long term

5) Having multiple buildings with different themes - maybe on different blockchains so we can organize contest for the biggest building !

🔥Commentary

The smartcontract we use is not verified on the testnet. At multiples times we tried to verify it, but we always ran into this error :

"Error! Unable to locate ContractCode at 0x191d4162b316d3bbf53445d434ffcf89d4cc5342. Is this a valid Contract Address"
