Inspiration

While brainstorming we were doing some projects. I asked Meer that what does ports ':3000' signify and then he went on for hours about it and then we went on a series of QnA about it and then we finalised that detecting vulnerability of WiFi and Tadaaa made an app about it.

What it does

Wide, after thereby consent of the user detects WiFi/The Device which the phone is connected to and lists the users which are connected and displays following information :

  • Mac Address
  • IP Address
  • Vulnerable Ports (upon scan)
  • Connection Duration
  • Vendor

How we built it

After the decision of the project, Designs were made on Figma which were followed by their application in flutter. Later on, ARP poisoining was used to fetch and analyse the network devices followed by the vulnerabilites. It was followed by the last blogs suggestion to the user for better security and preferentital decisions.

Challenges we ran into

Bugs (but BugMen saw through them) like Ux, Data presenting, Data fetching and low WiFI speed

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Even though being inexperienced in HackaThons, we thrived through it and manage to merge React and Flutter together. Also proud of imitate 90% of our Figma-Made Ui from Scratch.

What we learned

We learnt how not to burden a single person with everything. Being a pushover is discourageous to everyone present in the team. Everyone should ateast give it a shot. That HackThisFall is all about doing what you love and just have fun with the community. Last but not the least, Innovation comes with passion, one can't be innovative or creative about something they are not even passionate about.

What's next for BugMen

We Aspire to come together often and try executing our Ideas in real life so that there is nothing down the vain and it is not just for the sake of some competitions but also fruitful in the long term to us.
