Our team leader Mr Ashutosh is a Security Analyst and has dealt with bunch of issues regarding Testing and finding the vulnerabilities. And acc to him, he has found that the Web Based projects encounter more bugs and have more vulnerabilities. And Since the testing and finding of bugs is rather difficult task, he thought of automating it and our spark came from there.
It asks a user for the project id and API token of that project(Those things are publicly available), currently our tool only finds the bugs in the project made in Firebase. After the data is fed, the tool performs various kinds of testing using JS and tests the system for 4 types of bugs.
It was built using JS, Python and HTML.
The System itself is complex and it took a lot of toll on our leader to code it. Our teammates are beginners in the area of designing and JS , So it was a difficult hurdle to deal with.
We are proud to state that our tool is easy to use and and it can be useful for testers and developers for testing bugs within their firebase project.
Our team who were just familiar with JS and Figma, they were able to use this opportunity to implement the things they were familiar with and spread their wings further and it benifitted us a lot.
BugBlitz is planning to bring this product in the market and make it a subscription based system with a login system and we expect it to grow a lot among testers and developers and it will rake in a lot of money.
