Inspiration
Debugging can be stressful for beginners, so I wanted to turn it into something fun, motivating, and game-like. The idea behind Bug Hunter is simple: Fix bugs → Earn XP → Level up → Improve coding skills.
What I Learned
While building this project, I learned:
Structuring debugging challenges
Designing clean UI/UX
Balancing XP and streak logic
Improving user engagement with rewards
How I Built It
The core idea is a gamified debugging platform with:
XP progress bar
Daily streak tracking
Accuracy percentage
Achievements
Daily challenges
A neon-themed UI for a “hacker game” feel
I focused on keeping the interface simple but engaging.
Challenges I Faced
Some of the main challenges were:
Creating clear and fair bug tasks
Designing an interface that feels modern
Making the XP/streak system feel rewarding
Tracking accuracy cleanly
Math Example (LaTeX Support)
In-line math uses \( ... \) :
Displayed equation uses $$ ... $$ : $$ \text{Progress} = \frac{2450}{3000} \approx 0.82 $$ ### ## Final Outcome Bug Hunter makes debugging feel like a daily skill-building challenge instead of a boring task. It motivates consistency, improves debugging skills, and turns coding practice into a fun experience.
