Inspiration
An idea to make money management easier. We also think that is important to involve technology to give a reference on how one should spend their money optimally.
What it do
This program has a function for a person to keep track of their expense and income. Our program also helps people to allocate their money wisely. We also made a special tool by analyzing one's monthly income and how they would spend it on necessities, tertiary needs (leisure spending), and savings. We also made a tool to allocate one's budget on necessities into different categories, so that a person can get a reference on how they would spend their funds. We also made the same tool that helps to allocate investments based on one's risk profile. However, these tools may not be one of the only source for someone to budget their money, instead use them as a reference instead.
Challenges we ran into
As a beginner, it is really challenging to actually code a program. We also spent lots of time doing this project, also encountering many errors during the process. Despite this, our resilience and perseverance kept us to the finish line
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to finish the project before the deadline and have a deeper understanding of utilising Github as a collaborative editing space
What we learned
We learned a hands-on experience on how a programmer would work, especially in one day period of time. We also pushed ourselves to be creative to solve a problem.
What's next for Buffy Money Management
Next, we're planning to make a better UI/UX for this program, also makes this program more advanced by adding more useful tools.
