Inspiration
I had this portfolio tracker idea since I have many investments in different stocks and commodities etc. After I heard it from an influencer I decided to build it finally.
What it does
It allows users to add assets (stocks, etf, gold) to their portfolio and track their prices. The main goal is seeing your total portfolio in one place, rather than looking through all the platforms you have invested.
How we built it
It's built with react native.
Challenges we ran into
I've implemented currency changing feature which is quite challenging. Both user assets and purchase prices are updated based on selected currency. It's easy to write but hard to implement.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Beautiful UI. Apple's liquid glass design is implemented and it looks stunning. Also it's very simple to use.
