Inspiration
As students and soon-to-be adults, we believed that budgeting could be intimidating at first. Thus, we decided to create Budgie, the easy-to-use budget app.
What it does
Budgie serves the sole purpose of allowing its users to track their finances and gain a better understanding of where their money is going.
How we built it
We built it using the technologies of HTML, CSS, JS, and ReactJS and combined them all to display the data given.
Challenges we ran into
One of the largest challenges that we ran into was the time restriction as we were unable to implement the backend components that we had initially planned.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
One of the accomplishments that we’re proud of was being able to visualize the data properly and having the core concept of visualizing user data in an easy-to-read and aesthetically clean manner.
What we learned
Over the course of this event, we as a group advanced our knowledge in HTML, CSS, JS, and ReactJS among the beginners in the group and those who are more experienced.
What's next for Budgie
The next step for Budgie is going to be the implementation of the backend and allowing the users to login into a website and access their account information online from any device that they so choose.
