What it does
It helps you to keep track of your monthly expenses and income and enables you to plan accordingly. You can add entries to both income and expense section. It returns your monthly budget and gives you an idea about what percentage of your income is total expense. You can even delete entries if you added that by accident.
How we built it
It's made using vanilla javascript and a little bit of css.
Challenges we ran into
Manipulating the dom was the most difficult part in this project. It took a while for me to get it work properly.
What we learned
Learnt a lot about DOM manipulation, Object Oriented Programming and best practices that should be followed in development.
What's next for Budgetly
I will add a backend to the project. The user can sign in to his/her account and view his monthly expenses from the past.
