What it does

It helps students balance their budget and still save money

How we built it

We used android studio and basic arithmetic to help student be aware

Challenges we ran into

We were not aware of some syntax and import statements for the android studio workspace

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to get the basic user interface working and plan on making more successful

What we learned

We learned a lot about programming and it was a great experience. We stepped out of our comfort zone.

What's next for budgetcalculator

We will expand it to include API from banks and make it more interactive with graphs as time goes on. This was our whole groups first hackathon.
