According to an Intuit survey, 65% of Americans don't know how much they spent last month. This suggests that the majority of Americans are bad at budgeting. Through our project BudgetBird, CapitalOne users would be able to view their budget breakdowns (ie, how much money they spent on food, entertainment tickets, etc), and get suggestions based on their spending habits. For example, the website might give an estimate of how much they'd save if they cut out their daily Starbucks drink. Through this project, our team learned how to make pie charts with JavaScript and how to use Google Cloud. We built the project with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Google Cloud. Challenges we faced was manipulating the data properly with the pie chart and styling.
