Inspiration
"We were intrigued by Python and Flask, and we understand the budgeting can be challenging and time consuming for anyone. We desired to lessen this burden by creating an appealing, yet simple budget calculator that anyone can use, even kids.
What it does
Budget101 is your one-stop shop to managing deposits, withdrawals, transactions, and expenses. In case you're a visual person, a table populates with the cash amount and transaction type.
How we built it
We built this using Python, HTML, CSS, Flask, and with lots of help from online resources.
Challenges we ran into
Our strengths are in other programming languages, so learning the functionality of Python and Flask in such a short period of time presented a hill that we decided to climb together.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our ability to unite, challenge each other to excel, exchange knowledge, and offer unwavering support within our group.
What we learned
Developing code can present challenges, but working as a team not only makes it enjoyable but also more manageable.
What's next for Budget101
We aim to enhance the functionality and transform it into a mobile app.
