Inspiration

As students, we need to have our own savings ,budget goals and track our expenses and income.

What it does

It calculates your montly budget by listing all your income and expenses.The expenses or income can be added either manually or automatically by image reading techniques using OCR Processing.

How we built it

By using HTML for skeleton web development , CSS for design styling , JavaScript for adding functionalities to the webpage , OCR for image reading technique ,FileReader API for image uploading

Challenges we ran into

We came across some difficulties in learning and using stimulated OCR.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we had designed a website in which we can calculate our own montly budget and we get suggestions for savings.

What we learned

We have learned new technologies and data bases which are highly required to develop apps and websites.

What's next for Budget Tracking

We want to embed income opportunities (intership and part-time job suggestions) for students and emergency fund savings (opening FD's ).
