Inspiration

I was inspired to build Budget Tracker because of the theme of this hackathon. I think that some businesses have a lot of problems keeping track of their spendings, earnings, and how much money they have left.

What it does

Budget Tracker helps people and businesses keep track of things they spent on, how much they earned, and how much they have left.

How we built it

I built Budget Tracker by using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also used repl.it and Procreate to draw my logo.

Challenges we ran into

I ran into a challenge when I forgot to put the end parentheses in JavaScript, causing everything to not work. I also had a little issue adding two values from the same input box.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that my budget tracker actually works. I couldn't really remember how to add two values from the same input place.

What we learned

I learned how to neatly center-align an image without having to truly make it move and set a fixed value.

What's next for Budget Tracker

Next, I would like for Budget Tracker to have a user account set-up creation, and for the page to save even if I reload it.
