As students, we encounter daily challenges in keeping track of our expenses. That's why we have developed a budget planner specifically tailored to meet our needs.
What it does
Our budget planner offers a range of features that facilitate effective tracking of our finances. With the ability to add expenses and income, along with visual aids such as bar graphs and weekly category breakdowns, it becomes easier to monitor and manage our budget. Additionally, the transaction history feature allows us to review past financial activities and identify patterns or areas of improvement. These comprehensive tools empower us to gain a clear understanding of our budget and make informed financial decisions.
How we built it
We have developed our budget planner utilizing the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack.
Challenges we ran into
In developing our budget planner using the MERN stack, we encountered certain challenges that needed to be addressed. One significant challenge involved efficiently fetching data from the server. This required implementing strategies to optimize data retrieval and ensure a seamless user experience.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The key accomplishment is that we have a user-friendly website and had a nice exposure to web development.
