Inspiration

After the two tracks had been presented to us, the idea popped right into our heads.

What it does

Essentially, you type on how much money you make annually, and how much you spend on common expenses such as rent. The app visualizes this for you.

How we built it

We created a python back end, as well as making a simple UI using html and css.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge we faced was getting the development environment set up properly on everyone's machine. We scrapped a lot of our ideas, as well as compromised on what technologies we planned to use in order to get a working app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Utilizing technology that was very unfamiliar to us and getting a working project.

What we learned

How much we don't really know. There is a lot to be learned after this hackathon to become a proficient software developer. There are many hidden challenges along the way.
