Inspiration

We wanted to make something to help the ASU community. With so many students that use public transport, we wanted to make something to inspire those students to be more efficient in their travels.

What it does

We intended to have the project display a map and work like a Google Maps Clone, except that it would show the best methods of travel including Uber, Lyft, bus, car, bike, etc. depending on what modes of transport you say you have in the profiling system at the start of the program. We also made a rewards system to be able to get coupons for travel as well.

How we built it

Javier did the front-end with the Google Maps clone, while Dee worked on the rewards system.

Challenges we ran into

We didn't have enough time to finish the project because we realized it was on such a grand scale. If we had more time, we would definitely have been able to finish it, also if we had more teammates to help us.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're just glad we got the project to where we did, and we would be delighted to continue working on it over time!

What we learned

Projects have lots of different scales of effort, and this is one we would definitely need to invest a lot of time to finish. We also enjoyed the experience to get more experienced with these coding languages.
