Where does our money go each month? Many students struggle with personal finance due to poor financial literacy skills. As business students, we wanted to help support students with an easier way to manage their finances.
What it does
Budget Buddy is a visual dashboard that makes it easy to understand your monthly cash flow breakdown. No need to go through your credit card statement to figure out why you're broke.
How we built it
Very big pivot table on Excel.
Challenges we ran into
We had to scrap our original idea for data collection. We ran into issues integrating Microsoft Forms as a method to collect financial information.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of the comprehensiveness of the dashboard! We really tried to capture key metrics that would be of interest to the user.
