Inspiration
We realized personal finance is something we have to start thinking about, but budgeting and managing money can be very difficult and hard to keep track of. We figured other people have the same struggles with budgeting, so we created Budget Bros.
What it does
Budget Bros is a user-friendly app that simplifies the process of budgeting and financial planning. It allows users to input their income, and in response, the app generates a personalized budgeting plan based on the 50/30/20 rule. It creates a yearly, monthly, and weekly budget for users, with a clear and structured approach to managing their finances. In essence, Budget Bros helps individuals, especially those new to managing their income, make informed decisions about their spending, savings, and financial goals.
How we built it
We prototyped in Figma and built the project in Xcode using Swift.
