Inspiration: As engineering students we reside in hostels and our parents send pocket money every month. due to our expenses we didn't know how much money we have spent.so we came up with an idea about sorting out all our expenses in their particular categories.
What it does
it takes total amount input from the user. then the user has to choose from the options of which type and then the use has to select the category and then it sorts all the information the tabular form which makes us easy to understand on how we spent our expenses.
How we built it
we built it using chatGPT. it used the languages such as html, JavaScript, CSS and other sources from google
Challenges we ran into
as it was our first hackathon, it was difficult for us to code for straight 30 hours and we have very little knowledge about html. we had to prompt to the chatGPT multiple times even to make small corrections and few corrections were not corrected by it, so we have to correct it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
we are proud that we have coded straight 30 hours and built an website for the first time.

we have learnt about html and how to use GitHub copilot.
What's next for BUDGET-BLOOM
taking the information like transactions directly from the UPI apps and making it more efficient to use.
