Budget+

What it does

Budget + is an interactive mobile banking app, that allows youth to not only look at their finances, but also providing information ranging from beginner to advance on the customers experiences and knowledge on money financing. It has interactive learning and collaborative functions that make going through your mobile bank fun for not only you, but friends and family you choose to bring on.

How we built it

The app was built using design components from Figma and implemented with swift.

Challenges we ran into

ome challenges we ran into were compiling our core wants into a simplistic manner making it less congesting for the user to navigate.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

However, we were able to make it simple and even aesthetically pleasing to our theme, which we believe will play a key component in our demographics interest in the app.

What we learned

While building this project the members in Grape learned how to use great collaboration, teamwork, commutation, and troubleshooting, and problem solving

What's next for Budget+

We hope that Budget + is a step up in banking world for youth and getting feedback on the app for possible improvements if needed.

I worked on several frames in Figma including the savings, emergency fund, long term investments, and the savings challenge screen as well as helping with problems with other screens, mapping, and design

Marcus Cusaac
I worked on the menu Frame and Profile frame in Figma. I created components and made them assets so that way the team could use them seamlessly in several frames without having to recreate them each time. I also learned how to implement our design from Figma and give life to it using Bravo Studio. I also worked on the linking of each frame on the back end to make sure they mapped out correctly to the right page. Assisted in troubleshooting and adjusting each frame to perfection.

I worked on the financial research behind the project as well as took on the roll of lead presenter. To be specific I did our crash course section and initial welcome quiz. A huge part of this project was collaboration, but I did come up with the initial vision that my team worked to evolve, and kept us on track of keeping the user in mind. It was an amazing project and we are all so proud of how it came out. Thank you!
