We envisioned a platform where meaningful connections could be discovered as easily as information. This idea inspired BuddyBloom—a space where every interaction helps someone grow.

What it does

BuddyBloom is an AI-powered platform that intelligently connects students with study partners, mentors, skill-sharing communities, and wellness companions. By analyzing interests, goals, learning styles, and skills, it creates meaningful connections that foster personal and academic growth.

How I built it

I designed BuddyBloom with a user-first approach, combining AI-driven recommendation algorithms, personalized user profiles, gamification elements, and an intuitive interface. The platform matches users based on compatibility while rewarding positive engagement through a unique growth-based ecosystem.

Challenges I ran into

Creating meaningful matches required balancing multiple factors such as interests, goals, and personality traits. I also faced challenges in designing an experience that felt both professional and welcoming while ensuring scalability and user privacy.
