Inspiration

Imagine a message in a bottle — but floating in space. A way to leave your mark wherever you are.

What it does

Bubblin is a social experience where users can record audio messages and place them in space. Others can grab and listen to these floating messages.

How we built it

We started existing templates — starting from a simple, poetic idea.

Challenges we ran into

It took us some time to get familiar with the software, as it was the team’s first time using it.

Accomplishments we’re proud of

We managed to link an animated bubble with a record/playback audio feature.

What we learned

We learned how to use Lens Studio and explored its creative potential for spatial and social experiences.

What’s next for Bubblin

• Add pinch gesture to create a bubble
• Add UI elements and visual effects
• Make bubbles persistent (locally and via Snap Cloud)
• Use Snap Cloud to explore persistent bubbles in specific locations and streets
