Inspiration

Social media and niche interest forum pages were our inspiration. As well as finding a way to unite the bu community.

What it does

The website was developed to help heighten BU students' quality of life with a student-run tips and tricks forum to get to class faster.

How we built it

Using an online website formatter, we were able to get the framework to build off of and get our website running.

Challenges we ran into

Being new to the hackathon space, we were not yet assimilated into quick brainstorming. We also don't have much coding experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to have the website accessible to the blind with alternative text and having both a laptop and mobile version are accomplishments we are proud of.

What we learned

Time management skills were very crucial in this project and we learn a great deal from it.

What's next for BU Shortcuts

Greater customization for the user in terms of choice of language and pinned locations.
