Inspiration

This is a project about simplicity and inclusion. everybody should be able to quickly and easily onboard friends and their bussiness to Bitcoin and embrace hyperbitcoinization.

The most original or creative part of this project is how stores are onboarded and reviews added to stores, since you need no technical knowledge a couple of steps and you are on!.

Onboarding: store owner fill their details and send a semi-random number of sats to their own address.

Rates and Reviews: this can be added by anyone who actually purchased at store. it includes a txid. and a random number of sats to the store owner. customer adding their reviews can see it as a tip! it encourges positive feedback!.

notice how easy is this and how all of this is for the community. there is no charge from us. the sats for verification are send to the store owner always!.

What it does

A web site to list and find stores that accept Bitcoin as payment for the goods. i.e. a Bars, Hostels, restaurants, really anything legal.

How we built it

a lot of thinking and analysis for back end and APIs. a lot of vibe coding for frontend.

Challenges we ran into

Finding time and learning about lightning and bitcoin.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

People gets so happy when learning about bitcoin, getting their wallets ready and seeing thier stores listed in the site.

What's next for btcapproved.com

Stores listed will need to see bitcoiners comming to their store to actually spend in sats. we plan need a plan for marketing that will benefit our users, so we will find sponsors for marketing.

keep getting feedback of stores owners i.e. adding location to store details.

Implement IA agents to scan reviews and stores for different purposes.
