This is a platform for students at UCLA. My vision in this project is to empower students to form various communities based on their academic goals as well as personal interests.

Inspiration

My good friend from a startup project I'm working with. He inspires me to create something that is bigger than myself and make impacts on the community I belong to.

What it does

It should allow students to select different interests based on their academic and personal interests to form various communities.

How I built it

I started using Figma to create wireframes and sitemaps to design the entire platform. With the remaining of the time, I used the React framework to build my platform.

Challenges I ran into

Back-end issue I ran into that I couldn't connect to the database.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Being able to produce a platform in such a short amount of time.

What I learned

I learned how to use the React framework and how HTML intertwines with Javascript.

What's next for BruinHub

Complete the remaining functions of the platform and launch it at the end of the year to help students to pursue their goals in life.
