Inspiration

The idea for this project came from the need to ensure consistent user experiences across various devices and browsers. Web applications today need to perform reliably regardless of the user's setup, and I wanted to tackle the challenge of cross-browser compatibility testing efficiently. Sauce Labs provided the perfect platform to automate this process and simplify the testing workflow.

What I Learned

Throughout this project, I learned how to use Sauce Labs to create test cases quickly and easily. I discovered how valuable it is to automate browser testing and save time by running tests across different browsers simultaneously. This project also taught me the importance of ensuring that a website is fully functional on multiple platforms, from both a user experience and performance perspective.

How I Built the Project

I started by signing up for a free account on Sauce Labs. I used the Live Testing feature to simulate a browser session. I selected a browser (Chrome) and an operating system (Windows 10) to conduct the test. I navigated to a test website to check its functionality and responsiveness, interacting with it like a user would. I took a screenshot of the browser session as proof of the test case and saved it to my local machine. Finally, I uploaded the screenshot to the MLH platform as part of the Sauce Labs raffle entry.

Challenges Faced

One challenge was learning how to efficiently use the Sauce Labs platform for cross-browser testing. Initially, I wasn’t familiar with how to set up and navigate the interface, but with some practice and exploration
