Inspiration
Managing browser history often makes it difficult to find desired content, which led to the need for a plugin to better organize browsing records.
What it does
The plugin categorizes links into multiple groups based on their titles and URLs, making it easier to locate specific links within each category.
How we built it
Using the Gemini API, the plugin analyzes and classifies browser URLs and page titles. The classification results are displayed directly on the plugin’s interface.
Challenges we ran into
One major challenge was accurately identifying categories. This required enriching the prompt with more contextual clues to improve classification precision.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
With this project, users can effortlessly find their desired browsing history, significantly reducing the time spent searching through records.
What we learned
Crafting precise and well-defined prompts is essential for achieving high-quality classification results.
What's next for browser history graph
Future plans include enabling the system to generate custom categories automatically based on browsing behavior, rather than relying on predefined classifications.
