Inspiration
Honestly, society’s expectations can feel impossible—like everyone else got a perfect hand in life. I wanted to poke fun at that pressure and show the reality of just scraping by.
What it does
It’s a parody/comedy diss track about trying to “keep up with the Joneses” when you’re a broke millennial or Gen Z surviving on a tight budget. Funny, messy, and painfully relatable.
How I built it
I made the keyframes in Higgsfield Popcorn, wrote the song with Suno, animated in Grok, and stitched it all together in Capcut.
Challenges I ran into
Making it funny without being mean, keeping the visuals interesting on a shoestring, and making sure the parody actually felt real.
Accomplishments I’m proud of
I created something that people can laugh at while nodding in recognition—something that feels both silly and true.
What I learned
Relatable humor hits harder than perfection. Showing the struggle makes the joke land and connects with people.
What’s next for #BROKEBOOTY | The Discount Song | Parody & Comedy Track
I want to keep expanding the world of #BROKEBOOTY with more skits, songs, and content that celebrate the chaos and comedy of young adulthood.
